Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the risk of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (LMERT), distress and labor fatigue associated with the activities and postures adopted by Shop Assistants in a Telecommunications Store (Customer Support Service). We used different instruments, seeking triangulation and methodological complementarity, in an approach that includes the use of a questionnaire to register symptomatology of LMERT and exposure to distress and work fatigue. Was included 14 workers from the Telecommunications Store. This type of task entails risks of LMERT, so a method of evaluating body postures called ROSA Method was used. It was verified that some workers reported having symptoms of body discomfort, being more evident an incidence in the lumbar, dorsal, neck and wrist/hand zones. However, the levels of fatigue and distress were not worrisome, but some of the elements presented some complaints, which if not met can worsen.
